My written weight loss goal is 101 pounds. That would put me under 200 pounds for the first time since I was a teenager. I’m down 35 so far and am really happy with my progress. Some days it feels like I have come so far and others it feels like I just started. I don’t want to get lazy or settled. My trainer is sitting down with me to evaluate where we’ve been and where we are going with my workouts and I’m revisiting my eating. I’ve been doing good on the low carbohydrate lifestyle but this week I am choosing to track my calories as well just to keep perspective on each part of the steps to help me get to my goals. I take vitamins every morning and I’ve even tried some pre workout products but I don’t want to get dependent on any particular thing to the point that I have to have it to keep the weight off once I get to my goal. I am at a point right now where I will be crossing the barrier of the most weight I have ever lost at one time and I right now I weight less than I have since 2010. I am SO encouraged that this time I will reach my goal and not just reach it but go beyond my goal and keep it off. I think the biggest difference is this time I am having a good time! I enjoy working out and I enjoy going to Zumba class. I truly believe you have to find the thing that works for YOU! The steps that I am taking may not be what works for you and that’s ok. I’m here to encourage you if you are struggling to lose. I will be happy to share everything I can to be of help. Keeping my posts going has been a key part for me to be accountable and honest in my journey.
